Click here for a map of where Strasbourg is!
We arrived in Strasbourg around 4 without any help from traffic. Nikki and I put our stuff down in our hotel, got a map, and trekked our way downtown. From where we were situated, it was about a 15 min walk along a river to get to Petite France. Here are some photos from along the way!
We walked under two creepy bridges like this.... Forgive my lack of checking the photo after it's taken...
Our path was on the right side of the photo, and the bikers path was on the left. There are so many bikes that were cruising along rain or shine!
We were fortunate enough to pass by the Museum of Modern Art on our walk every day.. This was an outside sculpture.. there were a few outside and some that were displayed in windows :)
I loved the look of this bridge on the museum.
After our daily walk of enjoying foliage and locals, we got passed through a really old bridge and ended up in Petite France. PF was more like a mini island that was separate from different parts of Strasbourg. I would have to say it was my favorite part of being there because it's like being excluded in your own little world. For those of you that follow me on Instagram, the videos I took (outside of MM) were all taken in PF. This was our view from the bridge... the first day started out pretty overcast, but got better as the day went along.
Nikki on the bridge :)
Here are a mixture of photos from PF and the downtown/Cathedral area.... We went inside of the Cathedral as well, but there are so many photos that I am saving them for the post after this one... We also went on an amazing boat tour, which I shall also share in the next post. Until then, enjoy these tidbits!
The Cathedral
Nikki in awe at the size....
Trying to get the entire Cathedral in one shot...... yeahhhhhh.
Where we stopped to eat at Petite France.
The view to the right of where we stopped <3
I'm so obsessed with how beautiful the scenery was.
On the left of the restaurant we stopped at, this was the alley that we walked every day to get downtown.
It was pretty rad.
While we didn't eat at this restaurant, I was a big fan of this giant black lab that hung out there.
Bought a cute little sculpture at this store, which has a pretty large downstairs that reminded me of being in a cavern.
On the second day we stopped in this bakery and got some snacks for the day. They can do wonders with bread!!!
Sad I didn't buy any sweets while I was there...
More noms.
Storefront.
Nikki and I stopping for coffee... that turned into ice cream for her, and champagne for me. :)
YESSSSS!
Souvenir shops in front of the Cathedral.
A lot of the buildings had this type of architecture and design..
Photos of photos. :)
We thought this was hilarious. :D
On our walk along the river!
As I said before, I still have many more pictures to share, but for now this will have to do!

I love all your pictures! And you look adorable in that last one. :-) I can't wait until we find an opportunity to go there.
