My little gems!

Holy crap, it's June 1st. After recently reading a friend's blog, and catching up on some other people's blogs, I decided it's about time I attempt writing again. I'm sorry for taking such long breaks in between, and I promise I still have older posts I need to touch up that are coming out.

After being here for nearly 7 months, it's amazing that my life has done quite the turn-around. Other than keeping people in the loop with what I've been up to, this blog was started to focus on all the wonderful opportunities I have while I'm here. This blog was to keep me happy in all my down time while Matt is out at work, or gone for training. Lately, I'm proud to say that I've been too busy living my life to write it all down. No longer am I itching to get on the computer to write out all my positives, because I'm so drained from living them.

In the past 2 months I've gotten to know my neighbors. They are all angels. Seriously- you have to meet them to understand. Everyone here has some incredible talent, or knack for something, and we all seem to compliment each other. An introduction is in order I suppose? Let's be reasonable and go alphabetically!

Ashley, my building neighbor. Super sweet, and a super wife! She taught me how to make salsa, and constantly has me scratching my head trying to figure out how she works, cleans, and has dinner made every day! She has lent me some movies, some great books, and her pup on occasion. It's nice to meet someone who doesn't think I'm crazy for wanting to throw my baby girl a birthday party. :)
Danielle, my upstairs neighbor. She has the one and only baby that could ever possibly change my mind about having kids. She's been a constant in my life by making sure that we are both not bored throughout the day while our hubbies are gone. Lately, we've been on a Starburst+Grey's Anatomy kick. We spend a minimum of 3 nights a week together and she has given me some extra faith in my life.
Jessica, my other building neighbor and probably my first friend outside of Katie. We bonded quickly over our love of our dogs, and spent hours upon hours talking outside while she was busy creating the garden of Eden. She always has an ear to lend and a new perspective of positiveness to give.
Monique, my brand-spanking-new downstairs neighbor. Also has a puppy, and is in the military. This chick is a badass. She was immediately welcomed into our group and is such a joy to be around. She has a contagious smile, and is willing to go to the gym with me. She's sincere in everything she says, and is always upbeat.

These ladies have kept me sane and laughing and busier than I ever would have imagined. It's so nice to be able to go outside now hoping that I see some of my girls out there with their dogs/baby. I can't tell you all enough how much of a blessing they all are, and how different yet similar we all seem to be. Maybe it's a military spouse thing? Whatever the reason, I treasure them all.
